New Punjab Indian Restaurant

Based on other reviews we decided to give New Punjab Indian Restaurant a go and ordered via menulog so can't comment on the atmosphere of the place. Although, based on the friendliness of our delivery driver I can imagine it's great.The food was hot (temperature wise), smelt amazing and was tailored to our heat preference (in regards to just how spicy/mild) it was.We couldn't pass up the opportunity for some papadums and naan. The papadums were crispy and the cheese and garlic naan was a winner (hard to go back to other naans once you have had this, really good).Our two mains -were lamb korma (which comes with rice) and chicken biryani. The lamb was tender and the sauce was very aromatic. Delicious and would highly recommend this. The biryani was spot on as well! Both dishes were very filling, fresh and weren't swimming in oil which can sometimes happen. We thought the prices were appropriate. A great first experience and lovely to have a restaurant like this locally. Will be back for more!!

Great Lamb rogan josh. Extra chillies no issue's. Big servings presented nicely. Butter Chicken absolutely beautiful. Two mains and bread and enough for lunch tomorrow for the two of us

Oh my gosh! The food at this restaurant is so good! Personally, I quite enjoy the Tandoori Chicken, and the Garlic Naan. Definitely a recommendation. The pricing for this restaurant is not for people on a budget, although, it really isn't too expensive. The interior of the restaurant is very posh and fancy, clean.

Great service and brilliant food that is not swimming in oil as are some Indian foods. Brilliant heat level and they can adjust for your personal taste. Don't go past this restaurant if your after Indian. Just Brilliant :) Happy Happy customer.
