Jimmy's - Red Wing

I'm so glad I discovered this gem! This is the kind of spot I adore—an old-school bar nestled in a charming, vintage hotel. It's truly unique and has an electric, original vibe. The atmosphere is inviting; it might feel a bit intimate due to the dim lighting, but it's perfectly fine to come solo or with a friend. The leather chairs and couches, along with the abundance of wood decor, create a warm ambiance and offer nice views of the city center. The service was quick and friendly, and the food was fresh and delicious. We enjoyed the wings and onion rings, paired with a root beer and a Blue Moon. I will definitely be back!

I absolutely love it! We ordered both types of flatbread, and I would definitely get them again. The menu is limited, but I've always heard that a smaller menu means focusing on quality. There’s a great selection of beers too. It has a classic English pub vibe, which is really cool!

This restaurant exudes old-world elegance in Red Wing. The atmosphere is quiet and comfortable, making it an ideal spot to unwind. They offer a wonderful selection of Scotch, Irish whiskey, and Bourbon. The staff is friendly and welcoming, creating a great environment for enjoyable conversations. Overall, it's a fantastic place to relax.

Jimmy is a great, intimate setting for an after-dinner drink. Rich wood interior with a working fireplace, professional staff, live music. We sat under a window near the bar and enjoyed a great view of downtown Red Wing and the surrounding valleys. I recommend this as a must while enjoying the city and the St. James Hotel.

Upscale pub, nice but somewhat dark interior (think old tyme Cigar pub without any of the 'cigar ' issues) very enjoyable day time atmosphere but I find anything after the sun has set to be too dark for my comfort. Can definitely be a couples date spot as sitting 'personal space ' close is almost a prerequisite of the space. They do a great job of mixing drinks that are always strong enough . Good selection of food options but take note that the selections are distinct from the Veranda and The Port which are also on site.
