Westlake Grill At Heritage Ranch

It can be a bit hard to locate, as you wouldn't expect a restaurant to be situated in the middle of a park, but WOW! We tried three dishes, and each was presented with great attention to detail. The salad was a bit on the expensive side at $17, but it can easily serve two or even three people. Everything is homemade, and it really makes a difference. Treat yourself and dine here!

The restaurant has introduced a new menu that is quite unique, although a bit on the pricey side. My wife and I had the pleasure of trying the pizza, which was excellent. We dined on the patio, making the most of a lovely warm day. Our server was friendly and well-informed about the menu options. The food was delicious and served piping hot. The restaurant itself was clean, and the overall ambiance was enjoyable.

Great location with intriguing food and beverage menus. However, it is on the expensive side. I rated it four stars primarily because the restrooms need better maintenance. The women's restroom felt more like a neglected gas station facility, and some other areas, such as doors and handles, also felt unclean. These are simple issues to address, and I hope the restaurant can improve them to match the overall quality of the dining experience.

Mixed review here.The parking lot is an odd drive thru style. We had to park quite a distance away and walk.The server was friendly, and well spoken. She was explaining the menu, which was confusing. She advised the meal would come out in courses as it’s cooked in the kitchen. She advised the meals were meant to be shareable.The meal prices average about $70, up to almost $110. For this price, and based on what the server had said about shareable meals, I was expecting the meal to be large enough for 2 people.The meal arrived, and I was extremely disappointed. There was a very very small amount of carrot purée under one piece of meat, and another tiny tiny amount of purée under another piece.We also had potatoes on the side.The meat was cooked exactly how we ordered, and was seasoned perfectly. The meal did taste very good.Reading the reviews from other patrons, I was expecting top notch, amazing service and an amazing meal. This was simply not the case.The serving staff was good, except the beer I ordered I would have expected them to pour it. They gave me a glass with a can, to pour myself.The décor was dated, chairs and tables were quite small.I felt like we were put upstairs and forgot about.I recommend this restaurant based on the quality of the food, but I also do not recommend them based on the portions, lack of vegetables, and extreme overpriced menu.I probably would not eat here again just for those reasons.

We have been trying to redeem our ticketmaster ticket for a dinner and a ride that we were gifted for years now... They always have an excuse as to why they can't honor it at the time. I wish that our family who gifted it is could get refunded but it seems like a complete waste. Don't purchase date nights here unless you want to throw away $200 plus GST
