Humptys Family Resturant - Red Deer

I am not a big fan of this type of restaurant but I was really pleased during this visit.The grand-kids were on their way home from camp and wanted 'breakfast' food for supper. Our waitress was top notch and catered to the kids which made my visit with them and my step daughter a pleasant experience. They had a deal on where kids eat free for each adult entrée so it made it very affordable. The food by the way was excellent. I had a Mexican scrambler and it filled me up. No complaints here and I see it is under new management by the sign above the entrance.

We skulked into the restaurant red-faced and staring at our shoes at 8:15pm last Friday night (they close at 9). I felt like a heel, but we were starving and did NOT want fast food. Our waitress (a tiny blond thing - late 40s maybe?) didn't skip a beat. She had a great big smile and took our orders without a hitch or any acknowledgement that NOW she was definitely not getting off work on time. I made the kids order as fast as they could and NO ONE was getting anything that was going to take more than 10 mins to make! Our food was amazing - hot and fresh and my Thai chicken wrap was to die for! The club sandwiches looked wonderful and I'm not sure my oldest even tasted his french toast. I blinked and he was finished, so I think that means he liked it! :)The staff were wonderful, and I wish I had gotten names to properly acknowledge their superior service.

We have been here 3 times since it has opened, and it has only improved each time. The food is delicious and varied, the service is quick and the staff are very friendly. The atmosphere good.

An excellent choice for breakfast. The menu is varied, the food delicious, and the service fast and friendly. We have also stopped in for supper and thoroughly enjoyed our entrees. The place is very clean and nicely decorated with a music theme. Highly recommend it.
