The fried rice and shrimp in pineapple was great and my husband had the special raviolis. The red velvet cake appetizer large enough to share. Quiet and efficient service. Can't ask for anything more from a restaurant!! Already making another reservation.
We had a great experience at Elli's Backyard. There were 10 of us in total. We tried a variety of appetizers including the Bang Bang Shrimp, Firecracker Cauliflower, Calamari and Bacon. Then each of us had a different entree. Everything was delicious. We will definitely go back.
Came in for one of their character nights. Kids had a blast. The meatballs and chicken caprese were home runs. Our server Corinne was friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. Always a good night when we eat at Elli's.
Went in with no expectations... left with planning our next visit. I was blown away. You pass through the front door and face an ivy wall as you check in at the hostess stand, protecting your view of lies ahead. As you enter the restaurant you are transported to a backyard. With climbing ivy weaving throughout the pergola walls, twined with lights. The smells of a campfire in the distance and smokehouse hamburgers on the grill faintly wafting playfully in the air. It's an hidden oasis in Red Bank. Rob was our waiter, attentive and passionate about service. He shared the specials and his favorites all from his head with vivid descriptions and detail. The menu displayed a variety of choices for all pallets. At our table, we had a variety of foods, including the house, favorite of the pineapple bowl with grilled shrimp. I had the brown maple glaze salmon resting on a sweet mashed potato, the with demi glaze side and steam broccoli. the skewers were also a favorite of the table. Each plate came with three: a chicken and a shrimp or a bit of rice, the sauces used in cooking, then drizzled over the bed of rice. At one of the other tables, we saw the smokehouse burger, which is delivered in a dome plate. When the cover is lifted, smoke pillows out giving that outdoor aroma, so Kingsley associated with barbecues. For dessert we opted for the wheelbarrow chocolate cake and ice cream. It's literally delivered in a wheelbarrow. A table celebrating a birthday in the corner for the s'mores campfire. They were making their own s'mores while enjoying the company of their friends. I was pleasantly surprised at the taste of the food and also the portion size. Nobody left hungry. The prices were reasonable for our party of six, and the restaurant is also BYOB, which makes it even more appealing. If you are up for an adventure, I would recommend coming to experience it for yourself. .
Super cute place! Went for brunch. Our server and all the staff were fantastic. Food was really good-I would return!
