Ye Babam Ye - Reading

Ordered eating late after a drink came in 25 minutes and eating was amazing, very fresh is redefined! has ordered a chicken donor and was top animal. driver was very polite. I understand that they are short personal so that everyone who gives bad reviews is only restless. can't complain about the service to eat was perfect!

The experience at this restaurant was extremely unpleasant. I placed an order through Deliveroo for contactless delivery, but the delivery person insisted on handing the food directly to me and was not wearing a mask. The food arrived cold and the bread was stale. I filed a complaint with Deliveroo about the service.

I placed my order at the restaurant itself at 6pm. Unfortunately, for the first time, I paid for the food through their app. I regret doing so! I called at 7.15pm and was informed that my order would be another 10 minutes. I waited until about 7.50pm, called again, and was told it would be another 10 minutes. The person kept calling me darling, which was quite frustrating, and did not seem very apologetic. He only mentioned that they were extremely busy and that others were okay with waiting longer than me. If I hadn't already paid, I would have cancelled my order then and there. The food finally arrived 2 hours and 15 minutes after placing my order, in a Just Eat bag even though I did not order from them. Furthermore, half of the food was missing and the chips tasted like cardboard as they were clearly left in the container for too long. My order was not prepared as I had requested. The delivery person had difficulty communicating, so it was not worth complaining to him. We will never order from them again. We enjoy takeout regularly and would have appreciated if they had informed us that they were very busy, giving us the option to wait for another time. Being honest with your customers may help retain their loyalty.

The onion rings were soggy, the nugs and chips were not good. However, the side salad was amazing and definitely the best in Reading. The chillis were good. When ordering a lot of side salads, they seemed to become more scarce. The seish was okay, the pita was decent but soggy. The diet coke and fanta were well chilled. Everything always comes in a bag, which is helpful because nothing leaks. The halloumi in the wrap was good, but overall my stomach hurt afterwards. They provided plenty of chili sauce when asked in the shop. In conclusion, I would definitely order the side salad again.

My order was delivered by the police. They had arrested the driver at the end of my road for driving with no licence, no insurance and being under the influence of drugs! I was already pissed as my food had taken two hours to get to me but when I opened the bag it was completely the wrong food. It was cold and soggy garlic bread with cold curly fries. Nothing relevant to my order. I called yebambamye and explained but they said there was nothing they could do as they had no other drivers. I asked for a refund and was told I couldn’t have one as he didn’t know the password? The guy eventually said he would get his boss to sort it later and pretty much hung up on me. No apology or refund so far. I would avoid this place. If they are willing to cut corners with drivers it makes Me wonder if they cut corners with hygiene or kitchen standards. Now doing a chargeback through my bank.
