The ice cream is now much improved in ambiente, comfortable sitting and helpful and efficient staff. the foods and drinks are of great quality, except that they never master the art of cooking bratkartoffeln! They are hard and undercooked and not properly made. but a great place.

On Tuesday for a late evening sitting there, even after our departure there is plenty of food left. a really good price for what they get, eating was absolutely delicious! we've visited before, but it wasn't so good to eat, but this time it was so good that we wish we had more space! the only thing we have picked up was that the slices of meat they are given are quite small considering that in the rule they have an entire plate of each left at the end of the night, then again everything they get is definitiw the price they pay (and more) still give 5 stars. to visit again, thank you!

What a secret place to be, my friends family and I went to a Sunday career here on 13/2/22 at 17:30 and it was amazing. we were served by jess who was lovely, she was very welcoming, she was very friendly, the best customer service. she asked us for our drinks order, explained everything to us and came to check us out and delete our table. when my friends had birthday, she brought us an ice cream and a kiss free to go with the birthday cake we brought (we were allowed to ceremonies too). the Carvery experience was a great and unforgettable one here at the caversham bridge, reading. we would definitely return. 5/5 stars! we would like to make this an additional big thanks for my friends evening special!

The dining experience was wonderful, but there's definitely a need for some personal training to enhance the service further. It was my first visit to this establishment. The staff should be more cheerful, warmly welcoming, friendly, and maintain a professional demeanor. They need to be attentive and engage with customers at their tables while keeping an eye on their duties, making sure to bring the bill at an appropriate time and inquire about any further questions guests may have. There was a lack of energy in the service we received at our table. Overall, we were very satisfied with our meal and drinks.

The restaurant offers a solid menu with a variety of options, including separate listings for vegetarian and vegan dishes, which made it easy to navigate. We all opted for the roast meat-free carvery, traditional meat carvery, and Quorn sausages served in a large Yorkshire pudding with mashed potatoes and gravy. The service at the carvery was prompt, and the two servers did a great job managing the line, though it seemed some other diners took their time choosing their vegetables. Fortunately, the vegetable selection was regularly replenished, ensuring hot roasted potatoes were available, but unfortunately, the mashed potatoes were cold. Overall, we were satisfied with our meals and were too full to consider dessert.
