The seating with a view overlooking the river was a nice bonus. The quality was good, but the prices were a bit steep.
A ‘small cappuccino’ is SMALL! for £3.20 Small cake and I mean SMALL! £4.65 I suppose, if we are buying it, they will continue to charge it. It will be the last time we eat/drink here. So many food items in life now are becoming a luxury item. When will it stop…
This café is located on the first floor of the Oracle shopping Centre in Reading. It has a large window frontage overlooking the river hospitality area and was very popular on the Sunday morning we visited. It is self-service, the coffee was good quality and unusually in Reading they took cash. Some of the seats could do with reupholstering.
We stopped off here, for afternoon tea, and found it ok, service was a little slow, but we were in no rush, drinks and muffins were good.
Slow and uncaring service. Not very inspiring. Very limited choice of items to eat. Don’t come here if you can help it.
