Cafe Sebago - Raymond

Stop here on the way back to Portland after you admire the lake and beautiful trees. The interior was a bit short of personality and ambience, but I have the sense that they are in the process of giving the interior a little more charm. That said the employees were diligently nice and our server was spectacular. My wife had the BLT and liked it well. She mentioned that for $12 the bacon could stand to the really thick cut stuff and it wasn't. I had a side salad that was really good. Beautiful fresh green leaf salad (no iceberg here and it tasted great. I also had the steak sandwich. There was a generous amount of steak I appreciated. But the steak could have been seasoned better. It was good meat, but it would have been better with a little more pop. Attention for those of you who care about Pickles, I have sweet pickles with my order (plate! But everyone has different preferences in this respect. Friends were great. Beans were wonderfully tangy and unique. Overall really good lunch.

I had lunch this afternoon, and Erin was my server and bartender. She was friendly and attentive. The Grateful Dead drink was sweet and refreshing, the bacon on the BLT was cooked to perfection, and the fries and onion rings were crispy and delicious! This is a charming little pub, and I really enjoyed my visit.

Fantastic breakfast! The food was delicious and the portions were generous. Our server was amazing, with a wonderful personality that made the experience even more enjoyable. It was a truly fun outing!
