Once Upon A Thyme - Rawalpindi

Nice clean small restaurant in congested area of Saddar Rawalpindi. Food was OK, quantity insufficient.The dishes were not refilled. We booked for 35 people and we were hardly 27-28, but the food was not sufficient, almost one-third of us got half cup of soup. Sweet dishes, fish, etc finished soon and wasn't replenished. Service slow. There's a stages, one step higher than floor. Anyone can fall when getting down, as the step isn't visible in low light, and there isn't any indication either. The Highly Tea was Rs 700 per head. Menu was fine, but we couldn't enjoy everything as some of them got finished soon.

Very expensive restaurant. Hi tea just for Rs:850 per head with a lot of variety and taste. Birthdays parties and functions best arrangements. Family hall available . Timing 03:30 PM to 06:30 PM daily. Situates up storey of Bread n Butter. Not suitable for a single person.Mineral water Rs:70

Great experience. Food 8/10, Ambiance 8/10, Customer Service 10/10 About starter: tried their nachos, which taste 8/10, not at par with the nachos you get at Mindanos Islamabad but still of great taste. Main course: It was the first time I ever ordered a Mexican Beef Steak, so I didn't have any idea about its ingredients; since I don't like tomatoes and onion much, I would have chosen something else if I knew these are main ingredients for a Mexican Steak. But as it arrived on the sizzling hot plate, despite the first impression being of tomatoes and onions, I had to try it. I must say, the taste is really very good for someone who likes Mexican Steaks. The Mushroom Pasta also tasted really good, although not as good as Parmesan Cheese Pasta at Roasters. The customer service truly deserves appreciation, not because we were offered complimentary pastries, but because the overall experience turned out to be wonderful
