We were seated very fast and the waiters were on top of it at the beginning. I ordered the bulgogi and it was just not what i was expecting. It didn’t have any flavor to it and tasted boiled. Maybe it was? I definitely don’t recommend ordering the bulgogi but the tofu oyster soup was alright!
Prices have drastically increased, but quality is the same
If your child hates kimchi and only likes sweet and salty foods, come here! You can taste kimchi made with sugar instead of salt! And the soft tofu stew is just salty. When you eat kimchi and take a bite of stew, it tastes really sweet and salty. The taste here is thoroughly localized. (Perhaps a lot of Chinese people come here, seeing as the menu is also in Chinese. There seem to be very few Koreans working here. If you come to the U.S. and miss Korean soft tofu stew, somewhere else might be better. Although it's hard to find in Annandale. (Ah, if you still order one serving of soft tofu, they don’t give you the nurungji rice. If they give you that, it would neutralize the sweet and salty food. -Visited in the last week of May 2024.
The taste is good and the atmosphere is good. It's ridiculous that they've raised the prices so ridiculously recently. I ordered ribs and they said it was about $40. I don't know if they're a completely gutsy business or they're trying to rip off customers. I won't go there again. Rumors have spread around Annandale.
