Duck Chang's - Ravensworth

Amazing peking duck. Peter (manager) provided very great customer service and is highly passionate about his job. I highly recommend this historic family restaurant.

Peking Gourmet Inn, eat your heart out. This is the real deal if you want Peking duck. Plus they were so great and communicative when we wanted to do takeout for Christmas 2020, even though they were struggling with all sorts of shortages due to supply chain issues. Great people, great food. Parking: Weird parking lot, somewhat limited parking but usually spaces are open now that the other stores are abandoned.

The Peking duck here is one of the best in the area. The duck is prepared perfectly, with crispy skin, moist meat. The pancakes are warm and fresh. The garlic onion could have more spicy flavor but fresh nonetheless. The sauce is just right. We ordered other dishes as well (snow pea leaf, DC beef, and pan fried seafood gravy noodle dish which were good as well but the duck was definitely the best.

Duck Chang's has been a fixture in Annandale for half a century or so. I remember going to it as a little kid with my parents, and now I still go with my family. The food is very good, especially (as you might expect) the duck dishes. The location in a little strip mall might put you off, but the food is great!

It is a humble, clean, quiet place, with the best Pekin duck plate that I had in many many years. Highly
