Vittorio Romano Pizzeria Kastanie

My experience with the staff was rather positive - professional, friendly and attentive though not very talkative. The ambient is cosy and clean. Nothing really special or exciting about it, a bit above average. The pizza was relatively small and almost a perfect circle, like if it was made in a pan. The taste was quite average, especially the dough could have been a minute or two longer in the oven, could not say I really enjoyed it. I have not tasted other dishes, I might revisit to try something else, but it did not qualify for my list of pizzerias.I give it a "very good" rating because of the overall experience and the relaxing atmosphere made by the staff and other guests. If I would just rate the pizza, it would be an "average" rating.

Came here for dinner with two work colleagues. Food was good and we'll presented. But the service was lacking - having to ask for menus several times kept trying to get the waiter's! Attention. Would go back - but not in a hurry

Who would have thought you could come to Germany to have fantastic Italian cuisine. Here in the little picturesque town of Ravensburg on a pretty little street, is Vittorio Romano Pizzeria Kastanie. We sat on the patio, and enjoyed the very warm and inviting service. The restaurant was completely full on a Tuesday evening, which to me is an excellent indicator. I had the tomato soup appetizer which was incredible. Followed by the spaghetti bolognese which was simply amazing. My colleagues both had pizza which they said was excellent. The wine was great as well and very, very affordable. The owner is always around and you can tell he loves what he does, and his customers. What a fantastic place. Highly, highly recommended!!

Italian cuisine, fine but traditional. You'll feel like in Italy, and you'll enjoy your dinner with a very friendly attention.

The ambiente of the place is pretty nice and cozy. It does not have too many tables so its better to reserve a table to be on the save side.I enjoyed a very good Pizza Salsiccia. The Pizza was large enough and was very spicy as stated in the menue. Just perfect. The Lambrusco alse went very well with it. The Pizzas of my companios (ham w/ mushrooms and a grilled veggi one) also looked very very good. The dessert was very good as well: i had a mousse au chocolat and a capuccino. The capuccino was great. Strong, the right amount of bitterness and a nice portion of thick milk foam. The service was very friendly and also fast. Prices are absolutely reasonable (I paid 8,50€ for my Pizza) and okay for the high quality Pizzas. I can really recommend the place!
