The Art Cafe - RAVENNA

Friendly and helpful staff. Good course. but I have to highlight two pieces....two pasta dishes with simple sauce for children paid 30 euros, excessive the price according to me. as a second sin, the fried was good but salty.

We went to Ravenna (Venice) on a cruise in April, more than 2,000 passengers disembarked for the city center that day, therefore most of the restaurants in the city center were fully booked in advance, I could book this restaurant at the port only. At first we wondered why there were still some empty tables, maybe the taste was not very good. Anyway, we ordered some dishes according to the pictures introduced on the Internet, mainly seafood, but when they were served, we were shocked because the portions were too exaggerated, but the taste was super good and fresh, probably because the restaurant is very close to the sea, they can get fresh seafood straight from the fishermen! You can't believe we only paid 270 euros. I highly recommend it if you are a seafood lover, I’m sure you won’t be disappointed.

No way, this is a very good restaurant, with high level of cooking and very kind service. But: portions are minimal (as usual in this level of restaurant) and their particularity in not using at all garlic or onions seems not to help in esaltation of tastes of the most delicate food as fish.

Fantastic service and menu! Popped in here for a sunday lunch to find the restaurant filled with locals (usually a good sign when traveling). Looking forward to our next visit, we will definitely make reservations to ensure we have a table. Later in lunch, people were turned away due to the place being full! A must try when in Marina di Ravenna.

Last night I went to this restaurant with my husband and my son, we ate very well, the dishes well presented and treated in detail, the attentive and cared service and the place we loved, we will definitely return!
