La Taverna - Ratingen

Very good Italian restaurant. Carpacio was tender, fresh and very tasty, the ribeye stake was cooked to medium, was tender and was served over spicy pasta, the sea bream filet was fresh and tasty. Service is good.

We enjoyed a very relaxing business lunch here, and were beautifully looked after by the owner, who speaks a lovely English. The Menu is pretty extensive and is a great selection of Italian cuisine, with a decent choice of vegetarian dishes. The restaurant is smart, yet simple, and is very tastefully decorated and furnished. Would definitely recommend.

Went for lunch after business meeting in the area. Good daily menu on the chalk board. Impressive owner “Gino” that welcomed us with good explanations. Had liver cooked to perfection with a nice Chianti to wash it down. Decent pricing and surroundings. Small area for...parking behind on premises.

Every time I go to Düsseldorf, I can’t wait to visit La Taverna Restaurant in Ratingen. This is the best italian Restaurant I have ever tried. When we arrive they always welcome us with good italian mood. After arrive you will feel how they care...about you. We always get the very best recommandations of the best of the day by the restaurant owner. We get always the same and always the best quality of dishes. If you don’t find anything on the Menu then you can ask for special wishes. All dishes and special wishes will be made by heart. The atmosphere, the music, the team, the colors of the dishes as perfect as it has to be. Every single details match.. I visited so many restaurants on the Earth but after I visited La Taverna I can’t find the same again. The owner and most of the team are from Italy so the mood and food quality is sure by real Italiens. Thank you for every each moment we have got. Will be back again soon.

Expensive but good food !! worth the money. Small quaint, friendly management. I had the fresh fish, and pasta.
