I didn't eat most of it. There was an appetizer of duck done 3 ways which was just ok. The meal cost us $185.83. Definitely not worth that price. Most of the food in Tuscany is fairly inexpensive and really good. This was by far not a memorable meal.
Good food with polite staff and great service. Traditional Tuscan food is a must have if you are visiting the place.
This is a large, looming castle which can be seen far in the distance. With my friend, we enjoy driving in the Tuscan Countryside and doing a bit of castle chasing! This one is a find.
Second visit to the restaurant this year is I must say that it is impossible to find cows. excellent management. environment of excellent levelloris mozzini, the director, as well as an excellent manager of the environment, has a preparation that has no equal. The dishes, prepared with high quality products, is great for all palates. for the matching of the wines just let it be recommended by him and you do not run into errors. sin that during the winter it is closed because the medallion of Siena to the vinsanto banded with aromatic lard to the hay Greek and juliebbate apples will miss me... as well as the pici of durum wheat to the white ragù of real clarinet rosolato rosemary! We'll wait for April.
After being misled by a white track road that winded through forests , figured we would be meeting the 7 dwarvesrather than a restaurant however soon we did eventually come out of the trees and find our way to this beautiful medieval castle. Dont be put off by it looking all locked up you have to get right up to the small front door and ring a bell and then finally you are into the main courtyard .. lovely views a beautiful garden and the restaurant has fantastically decorated ceilings. The menu didnt have a huge variety but as a change from some places here in Tuscany it did have some fish dishes . The portions are typical to a restaurant of this level so dont expect huge platefuls but the food was of a good standard The service was a little erratic but while we waited we had an apertive outside in the garden so enjoyed the views. worth going to but probably no more than once.
