Delmonico Grill - Rapid City

This place was absolutely phenomenal. The atmosphere, the service and the food were definitely divine. I had the duck and my husband had the fillet. Our tastebuds have never been happier. I also tried their French Onion soup (I’ve never tried it since I was younger) just delicious. Our waitress Jessica knocked it out of the park with drinks and service. She was an absolute doll. Can’t wait to come back during the stock show, can not recommend this place enough.

Definitely not up to your usual standards. Salad was past its prime and food was salty. Service was excellent

The food was delicious, and nicely prepared. I wanted the pork chops but they ran out within an hour and half after opening. The waiter didn 't tell us in advance what was not available so was disappointed when I had to change my choice. Although they said they could make cocktails, they didn 't have the supplies to make off menu items like a cosmopolitans or Jameson and ginger. It was just too many we don 't haves in succession that made the experience disappointing. The foie gras, although was tasty, the presentation was unexpected and disappointing, based on past experience at the restaurant.

The fillet with the Oscar side smothered all over the steak was amazing. It was So tender I could’ve cut it with a butter knife. Also, the flourless chocolate desert was

We dined on New Year’s Eve and the restaurant was very busy. So we weren’t surprised it took awhile for someone to an offer us drinks or at least acknowledge we were there after we had been seated. But it took at least 25 minutes to meet our server and only after we successfully flagged someone down ourselves. We know holidays are very busy for restaurants, and we completely understand the service industry in general is understaffed, overworked, and underpaid. But for the price Delmonico Grill charges for dinner, it should not take more than 10-15 minutes at most to be welcomed after being seated.
