The pricing is appropriate and the service is impeccable. They have outdoor seating and a great wine and beer list. The lasagna is delicious and packed with meat, cheese, and sauce. The manicotti has the perfect amount of ricotta, mozzarella, sauce, and pasta. Overall, this restaurant is a wonderful find.
Despite hearing from others on the street that the staff could be rude about their opening time, we decided to give this restaurant a try. The sign on the door said 4, but we were told inside that they actually opened at 5. We returned the next day after 5 and were quickly served drinks. Unfortunately, the dark beer recommendation we asked for turned out to be an IPA, which was not to our liking. However, the Mango Cream drink I ordered was very good. The cheese plate we ordered as an appetizer was delicious and well-priced. Our dinner of chicken spinach cheese enchiladas and shrimp Alfredo was decent, but lacked in flavor and spinach. Our friends had the cheese enchiladas and thought they were just okay. Overall, the experience was average and we may try something different if we are in the area looking for Italian cuisine again.
The service at this restaurant is excellent. The house wine is good. I started with the Caprese as an appetizer and had the lasagna as my main course. This restaurant has a lot of potential, but the lasagna was a bit underwhelming. The portion size was on the smaller side, so be aware if you're expecting a larger meal. There weren't many layers and there wasn't a lot of meat in the lasagna. However, the service was top-notch and I was quickly seated, even though I was dining alone.
This is a lovely restaurant in Rapid City. I have come here twice now and never been disappointed. This most recent time, I ordered the Salmon de Griglia and it was delicious- large portions too! If you are spending a night in rapid and want good italian look no further. Pro-tip- sit outside and do not order garlic bread- they provide free bread.
Yummmm! We were concerned with the mixed yelp reviews and so decided to go on our gut instinct ... we are Italian food conisuers. I ordered a Gorgonzola salad, and fruit de Mari seafood pasta) the salad was full of young tender spring leaf salad mix, evenly and lightly dressed, walnuts had been toasted and alive with flavor, and Gorgonzola crumbles peeking through the lettuce, this was garnished with mandarin oranges... which I felt was on the skimpy side, but elegantly presented, and pleasant to the eye as well as the taste buds. My fruiti-de-Mari was pleasantly surprisingly amazing!... Seafood was perfectly cooked, pasta was al dente, and the sauce was filled with little specs of veggies; spinach, carrots, tomatoes... and they sooo belonged in the lightly spicy sauce. My shrimp was perfectly cooked... and these were good sized, like prawns, scallops too... perfectly tender, cooked through but not rubbery... and salmon was flakey, .... everything was wonderful! Portions were generous, wait staff pleasant. If I lived in the area this would become my go-to Restauraunt for Italian.
