The Crab Queen - Randallstown

It was ok expected more of a wow factor from the tik tok reviews (and the price)? the mac and the cheese had a sharp to it, one of the cheeses, and was not as cheesy as I would have preferred. the filled salmon had a sweet teriyaki glaze that I really did not care. kale greens were really great yams needed more sweetness.

That was my first time I came here. I have always seen pictures and had only one taste for a crabcake egg roll. I ordered the phone and came there 20 minutes later. I was not greeted with the input, even though the kerl looked at me in writing. he was busy with drinks. I paid, my bag and left. I admit, my fault is not to check the box before I left. When I came home and looked in the box, I only had French pommes. they were not even crispy or good. I had to explain myself several times before the guy said he was to come back and get what I really ordered. When I came there, it was ready to eat and tasted very well when I tried to get home. I won't say I wouldn't eat here again. the food was very well seasoned and the sauce with the rolls was very sharp. Overall...It's just the principle that this is my first time experience and had to drive all the way back because the order was originally wrong. moral of history: always check the box before they go!

Definitely not what I expected, Waste of alot of money... not my cup of tea,, Overpriced for the bland taste and no flavors... that's not soul food cooking.. NEVER GOING THERE AGAIN.. ?

I wanted to love it so much, but the food was very disappointing. I love the food from Xquisite Catering who also owns The Crab Queen so I just knew that my crab craving would be met when trying it for the first time. I ordered a crab pretzel and seafood salad. The flavor of the seafood salad was good. My first two bites I was pleased nothing but crab and shrimp but by the 3rd bite is when I noticed there was pasta in it too (cool that's how I normally have it). Once I kept eating I realized there was no seafood mixed in the pasta at all; it was layered- all pasta at the bottom, then crab, then 3-4 shrimp on top. I ended up eating most of the pasta without seafood which was not satisfying at all. The crab pretzel had way too much cheddar cheese and not enough of the seafood sauce so it was very dry and the taste was mediocre. Definitely not what I expected for the price. Since I love the food from the sister company I just knew everything would be great. I will continue to support Xquisite Catering but unfortunately I would not eat at The Crab Queen again.
