We were initially booked in the Olive Grove suite, but when checking in, we were graciously offered an upgrade that turned out to be perfect! The bellman had our luggage placed in our room as soon as it was ready, and we were welcomed with wine and some lovely pregnancy items that my wife really appreciated. Rancho Valencia pays great attention to detail, and it really won us over. The rooms are impeccably clean, comfortable, and truly immerse you in the vacation spirit. **Spa:** Let me put it this way: I would join my wife at the spa every day just to relax by the pool, enjoy a delicious lunch, and sip on some drinks. The spa offers a broad range of services suitable for everyone, and the Deep Tissue massage was fantastic! A shout-out to the Rein crew (Morgan, Cheryne, and Ana) for their outstanding service. **Rancho Valencia Staff:** The staff here are some of the most professional and kindest people we've encountered at a resort. From our arrival to the daily meals served in our room, turn-down service, and even the gardener, it was the staff that transformed a good resort into an extraordinary experience.
The location is stunning, surrounded by lush greenery and a tranquil atmosphere. I highly recommend the almond dessert—it's like a fabulous taste of childhood! Everything is top-notch, and the staff is very attentive. I've already reserved a table for my birthday!
In celebration of Easter Sunday on March 27th, we are excited to share some of the best brunch spots in San Diego that are perfect for enjoying with family and friends. There's nothing quite like a rooftop brunch with an ocean view, and this Easter Sunday, FIREHOUSE American Eatery Lounge will be featuring a bottomless mimosa bar! On March 27th, indulge in a selection of delightful fresh juices for only $25, available until 2 p.m. Their brunch menu, offered until 3 p.m., includes classic dishes such as the Devil’s Dozen "Benny" and fried chicken gravy, as well as lighter options like the baked egg white scramble and avocado toast. Reservations are recommended.
I really enjoyed the variety of fitness classes offered, including Pilates, yoga, HIIT, spin, and TRX, which were included with my stay. Each day, I chose different classes, and all the instructors—Megan, Suzanne, Brittnee, Veronica, and Dory—were fantastic. I made it a point to take at least two classes daily. I also had excellent tennis lessons with Eduardo, their head pro. As a beginner, I took a complimentary session to try it out and loved it so much that I signed up for two more classes. The spa experience was wonderful as well. I indulged in daily massages, and therapists David, Noel, and Teresa all provided exceptional care and expertise. I concluded my visit with a facial treatment by Julianne, which was also outstanding. Dining at the Pony Room was a treat! I either dined in the restaurant or ordered room service, which always arrived within 30 minutes. The highlight was definitely fried chicken night—it was phenomenal! I arrived feeling a bit worn out and left completely rejuvenated. I can’t wait to return!
Rancho Valencia Resort and Spa is stunning and incredibly picturesque. I attended a Rafa Nadal tennis camp there, and the tennis courts were exceptional. Although I wasn't staying as a guest, I had the opportunity to dine at the restaurants, which were excellent.
