Catalina Kitchen - Rancho Palos Verdes

Such an elegant and comfortable restaurant. The appetizers, food, adult drinks and desserts were delicious.

Dinner with the family. Forget to take pictures of food. Everyone also loved their drinks. Mine was just water. I'll be back with pancakes next time.

We had an excellent service, although we do not live in the resort and roll on motorcycles. Our hostess and waitress were very accommodating, sitting closest to the pool so we could overlook the ocean below.

The food was okay. I had the Nashville chicken sandwich. Together with the ribs sandwich and lava cake. The garlic bread with the garlic butter was delicious!

Good service in very nice resort. Food quality and flavor was not quite up to expectations relative to location and price. It wasn't bad but wasn't great and certainly wasn't worth $35 for less than a cereal bowl's worth of food. Not a chef focused restaurant where one pays for the chef's imagination. I've had those and had very good experiences where you pay high prices for that type of experience. This Cafe is just an upscale hotel restaurant, a couple of notches above a diner, but with a captive clientele.
