Shame on the Moon - Rancho Mirage

I have been a loyal customer at this restaurant for 15 years, but sadly tonight will be my last visit. I was very disappointed to find that my favorite dishes, meatloaf and duck, were no longer available (even though they were not listed on the online menu). On top of that, I waited 35 minutes for a salad only to be told that my ticket was lost. The service was lacking and I didn't even stick around for the peanut butter pie, which was always a highlight for me in the past. It seems like things have changed for the worse here. Goodbye.

On October 18th, 2022, the bartender who was leaving seemed eager to go and even shared unprofessional opinions about the owner and how things were run. The online menu did not match the menu offered in the restaurant, and the ribeye that I had originally come for was no longer available. The shrimp scampi was excellent, but the crab cakes were disappointing.

I had heard great things about this restaurant and it had been on my bucket list for a while. I finally went because they were offering a special dinner deal of three entrees for $29 for one week only. Each entree had several options to choose from. The atmosphere was quiet and cozy with candlelight. The service was friendly and attentive. The food exceeded my expectations, especially considering the special price. My meal, including drinks, came out to $40, which is a great value for the quality of food and service. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to others.

Went here for the first time this week. It was a date night and turned out to be the perfect spot for such an evening. The food was nothing short of stellar. She had tilapia and I had shrimp and scallops. Just wow. So good. The service was friendly andefficient, and the atmosphere is what you would expect from a fine dining experience. Not inexpensive but worth every penny.Highly recommend!

We had a nice date night here recently. We were warmly greeted and promptly seated. Outdoor seating is comfortable and distanced. Drinks were nicely made and our food was tasty. Service was courteous and professional. Convenient location with ample, easy parking
