Gen Korean Bbq House - Rancho Cucamonga

We had our first experience with Korean barbecue, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Our waitress was attentive and knowledgeable. The setup is essentially an all-you-can-eat buffet where you can grill your choice of meats and vegetables right at your table. We were served four different types of beef: a Hawaiian marinated beef, a steak, and two very thin slices of beef. You can also request sauces and salt to accompany your meat. White rice and a salad are included as well, and the salad dressing was excellent. If the grill plate gets sticky, they will replace it for you. At just $27 per person, not including tax and tip, the price is very reasonable!

Fantastic Korean BBQ! We did have to wait a bit to be seated, and we noticed that some diners who arrived after us received their food first, which was a little frustrating. This happened about six months ago, and we felt the service could use some improvement. However, the flavors were excellent, and the portion sizes were generous. It’s a great place to enjoy a meal with family and friends!

Service was poor. Once sitting came the first portion. After that, the refills were extremely slow. Needed to ask for meat and drink supplements 4 times. They must have literally forgotten us, even after they told us they were taking care of us. Food itself was good, but the Calamari was over cooked. Service was simply poor and receives ZERO stars.

Gen Korean BBQ is one of the best ?Cook Yourself? Sit down restaurants ever!! I eat at Gen, for sure at least once every two weeks!! I recommend everybody to try it at least once! It has a great atmosphere and friendly party vibes, I just wish that all locations had the ?Volcano Chicken? like the West Covina location! I recommend everyone to also take their dates to any Gen Locations! Best food!
