Zak's Grill - Rancho Cordova

Great staff. Amazing service. Thank you. The food was fine. But honestly, great staff makes me come back one day. Maybe I didn't order the right thing. The shrimp scampi needed salt

Alarm level: We're not going back. Why would we, if we were not greeted with a welcome in Zak 's, how many? But instead with a cold, three? This is no way to make a patron, especially if this restaurant is supposed to celebrate its recent opening. Then after the order we learn that they were from trout, the only duck that appealed when reading the online menu. When the server saw my disappointment, she said, We also have salmon. The trout tastes much like the salmon. And that's good? If this is a point of sale at Zak, then Lord knows how bad it would be. We didn't stay around to find out. Bye.

That was an interesting experience. Our waitress was insanely stressed and overwhelmed and there were only 2 other coulples present while we were there. The dining room cried over the room the most evening because it was so tired and overworked (it was 3 couples in the house). We waited at least 20mins before our order was finalized, and about 10-15mins to get them. I think the owner delivered our plates to the table, he was very charming and the most professional member of his staff. Oh! My friend ordered a Spicy Mule, it was delivered to our table and the bartender forgot to add the Daggon wing. I can try them again in the hope that this was an abandoned night, but I can't say I'm looking forward to it or I'm going to hurry again. The food was decent. Overall, it was a very side of the Road Truck Stop Diner experience for me.

It was ok, it wasn't busy put we were put right next to the exit door. it was very cold. Food and drink were ok.

Nice to try a new place. Our server Was very friendly and attentive. Good bar food.
