Red Dragon Fire - Rancho Cordova

Very happy I tried this place. The food was very good and the children loved it too. The great thing is that they don't use MSG!

On 12/31/2018 I dined in at the Red Dragon, I was treated very rudely, and unfairly. I attempted to want to taste the red chili paste that they had sitting on their table. So, when I took the top off to stir it up a little bit the smell of the spice from the paste smelled a bit too strong for me, and after stirring and getting a strong smell from the chili paste, I tapped my nose as I put the top back on. Well, the worker there try to accuse me of putting something in the chili paste, and then he proceeded to move closer towards me as if he was going to do something. I put absolutely nothing in the chili paste and I just decided that I did not want any, and that alone did not warrant the worker the right to accuse me of anything. I am disgusted at this place of business, and I will not ever be returning back there again.

I've had some of the worst food recently at this restaurant. When I tried to pay with my debit card, the waitress informed me that they only accept cards with a chip and that she couldn't process my card manually. This forced me to trek to a bank on the other side of the mall in the rain to get cash. After I finally returned and paid her, she told me she didn't have any small bills or change in the register, probably because business was slow. She then had to fetch her husband, who was in the kitchen, to get money to give me my change. I should have trusted my instincts when I noticed there were hardly any customers dining in the place. And about their claim of "great Chinese food" advertised in the window—if a restaurant is truly good, they shouldn't need to announce it; their food should speak for itself. That's all!

The fried rice, broccoli with beef, and spicy prawns (served only on veggie egg rolls) were all incredibly delicious, with the exception of the prawns, which came with their tails on.

I absolutely love this restaurant! The food is incredibly delicious, and the staff is really friendly; they even start to recognize me. I can't get enough of this place! The hardest part is deciding which dish I want to try next. It's all so tasty! Sometimes, I even end up ordering several items. Yum!
