The BBQ Connection - Ramstein

This BBQ spot is off the beaten path. Tucked away in the middle of an industrial section just outside the city of Ramstein. I called ahead to verify they were still open and they were really nice on the phone....not always the case at most restaurants. I showed up and the friendliness continued. I asked what they would suggest and they gave me a couple good options. I ended up ordering their spicy bbq wings, pulled pork sandwich and homemade sweet tea. The tea was different from what I'm use to. Not sure what it was but the sweetness had a different flavor than traditional sweet tea. The pulled pork sandwich was pretty good. Very juicy, not at all dry. Didn't have as much smoke flavor as I'd normally like but still pretty good. The highlight was the wings. Really good flavor all around. I'll definitely go back for wings again.

Great place to eat american bbq. we had the ribs and the brisket and it was perfection. they do everything themselves. from smoking meat to your own BBQ sauce and sides. the garlic potatoes are delicious, so are the green beans. the rest of the menu sounds promising, the drawn swarm will try next time.

Great first experience at the BBQ Connection. I really loved that they had Mambo Sauce flavoured chicken wings.I must admit that I have never had my barbecue served quit like this before. My wifey and I both enjoyed our meals (pulled pork and brisket). The desert changes, I had a delicious Strawberry Banana Pudding, which was recommended by the staff. It was different and very good. I know we will be back soon. I have to check out the Maryland box.

Great food. We'll prepared and very tasty. Generally we're not impressed with the food in this area but they are a pleasant surprise and offer great BBQ.

We ordered delivery service. for the first time and it was an hour too late. the southern chicken sandwich was really good. my man ordered the pulled swarm and he said it was mediocre. the riders had a lot of taste we like, but unfortunately they were very soggy and we couldn't finish them. not sure we would try again.
