German Canteen - Ramstein-Miesenbach

I absolutely love the currywurst and fries at this place—it’s my go-to dish! While it may not be a hidden gem, it’s definitely not overcrowded, giving you a good chance to try it out. If you want to avoid lines, I recommend arriving before 11:15 am. Their daily specials never disappoint! Since it’s located on Ramstein base, access is restricted to those with base access. The staff is incredibly friendly, and it’s worth noting that they only accept cash for transactions under 10 euros.

Overcharged for my meal, then, the order was forgotten, so after waiting for 30 minutes I couldn’t wait any longer. I asked for a refund and was told that’s not possible so I had to wait another 10 minutes for a To-go meal. Not very good service when they are busy.

Quick, courteous service. Great meal prices. Hidden gem amidst the Ramstein hustle.
