Royal Victoria Pavilion - Ramsgate

I was told that this pub is the largest Wetherspoons in the country. Not sure if it's true, but it's certainly the biggest I've seen. It has a great location that literally lies directly on the beach. I ordered a vegan breakfast, which was unfortunately quite pathetic. It consisted of 2 sausages, a half tomato, a mushroom and two hash-browns, which hardly covered half the dish. It was erroneously sent without the piece of toast to come with it. They were happy to correct this, but I was shocked that the cook had the boldness to serve.

You generally know what to expect when dining at a Wetherspoon: affordable food and drinks that are decent but not exceptional. It's often a suitable spot to catch up with non-vegan friends over lunch. Unfortunately, the curries my wife and I received today were quite disappointing. We had to send the first ones back because they were cold and undercooked. The replacements were an improvement in temperature, but some of the vegetables were still hard, and most of the cauliflower was just stalk. Overall, the dish lacked flavor and was quite subpar.
