Brothers Smokehouse - Ramsey

First I waited for 45 minutes to get seated, then when I get the table, the table wasn't inspected because the table was uneven yet the manager came and fixed the problem. The food we order for what we came (brisket) was dry and didn't have the flavor they are apparently famous for. I loved the corn bread. The place have a nice environment specially the live music on Saturdays. Yet I feel the place is overrated. Of the food taste better it will be a blast.

The spot is one that I?ve never seen in Ramsey before and I?m happy to see that it replace the macaroni grill. The food was something like I?ve never had before since I?ve been in Georgia where they have a lot of brisket and cornbread. I was really happy to see a live performance as I ate, the woman playing the flute is awesome! I hope to come back, it was the best place to spend my birthday.

Brother?s Smokehouse is wonderful! As a Southerner, I can say it?s very authentic and was definitely a taste of home. It may be the cleanest restaurant we?ve been to. The food was amazing and portions were huge! Service and atmosphere are excellent!! A real gem in Bergen County!

Spacious modern BBQ joint. Bar with TVs, even had a music stage! The brisket was outstanding, but the ribs were pulled way too early. Very tough, needed at LEAST another half hour. Also didn?t have much bark, could have used more rub. Sides were good.

Best BBQ around! This food is fantastic the vibe is laid back but the service is terrific--the wait staff kitchen staff are great. We started with the fried pickle appetizer, my husband had the Porko Burger, and I had the 2 Meats Platter (St. Louis Ribs Pulled Pork). Everything was fresh and melt-in-your-mouth delicious. Sides were homemade slaw and bbq baked beans that were phenomenal. Big portions, took home plenty for lunch tomorrow. The bar menu is also impressive! I had a smoked pineapple old fashioned--perfectly balanced between sweet and smoky. Highly recommend!
