Trophy Brewing Tap & Table - Raleigh

We enjoyed a Valentine's dinner before a show at the performing arts center. The restaurant is within walking distance of the Marriott and the show venue. The service and ambiance were fantastic. We can't wait to come back.

The restaurant attempted to elevate itself to a gastro-pub, but ultimately failed to deliver. The atmosphere was noisy and lacked character, with prices that seemed too high for the quality of food. While the menu was ambitious, the dishes ended up being average at best. The beer selection mostly consisted of IPAs, with varied alcohol percentages. It would have been nice to have other options like lagers or pilsners. The service was friendly and efficient, but couldn't make up for the lack of ambiance and unimpressive menus.

The food at the restaurant was amazing, but the service was terrible. No one came to our table for a while, and after delivering the food, they never checked back on us or refilled our drinks. If the food wasn't good, I wouldn't return, but I now know for next time to sit at the bar.

Beer was great! Food was also very good. Very good wings!

We stood and waited for someone to approach the hostess stand for 5 minutes and wondered if we maybe were at wrong spot. Once seated, we waited at minimum 10 minutes for anyone to ask for a drink or food order. When the gentleman finally approached he asked for food and drink order, which is not normal at any other restaurant. He had no energy what so ever and seemed he was just there because he had to be. We had been wanting to try trophy for a while and were extremely disappointed in the outcome.
