The District Raleigh

We were warmly welcomed and served quickly. There are a few vegan options on the menu and I chose the Mock Chicken Pack with Fritten. My husband had the Pimento cheeseburger and note. We enjoyed everything we ordered and want back to check the T-Th Happy Hour when most appetizers are half price. If you didn't try the district, you should.

Excellent cocktails, bar staff, and food. Very generous portions and top notch food for a bar. We had the Korean fried chicken (tip: order it naked with sauces on the side) and totchoes. I only wish they had more seating. We got there early and had no trouble but I'm not sure that would be the case had we arrived later in the evening.

The kimchi mac is delicious, as is the red bean ice cream. Cheesecake is decadent but nothing out of the ordinary. If you get one of the vegan chicken pho dishes, ask for extra broth on the side since otherwise it's a bit dry. There are lots of vegetarian and vegan options here, as well as meat options. Dinner service is on point. If you're just stopping by for a drink late night, this isn't perhaps a top choice on my list because it's a little bright and not really the sexy, secluded atmosphere you'd look for in a cocktail bar.

Casual atmosphere. Great craft cocktails. Satisfying appetizers, generous portions.

Fun mix of restaurant and bar vibes. Food menu is somewhat limited. And the drinks were much better than the food. They have a good variety of drinks, and they were all delicious! Staff are very friendly, but food was slow. They're LGBT-friendly. I've seen a number of couples, and they all looked like they're having a good time :
