Missed my birthday! The reason we come there every year.

Steak has great flavor but a little too tough for the price. Brussels and Crav fried rice excellent. So so wine list for a high end steakhouse.

We had a party of 10 8:30pm on a Saturday. I have never had such slow service at an up scale restaurant as we experienced. We were sat right away, all of the service staff were kind however it took around 20 minutes to get drinks, mine was forgotten so another 10 before I received it. At least 30 more minutes for apps, 20-25 for dinner. My steak was ordered medium came with a cold red center. It was immediately taken to bring to proper temperature but another 15 minutes went by before receiving back. An order of mac n chz was forgotten when brought was not baked like the other, looked like it was just microwaved. Dessert took around 20 minutes after ordering the expresso martinis my daughter her boyfriend ordered were also forgotten brought only after we asked about them. On a $1000 tab the servers would have made well over the added 18% tip but with this experience we were not inclined to tip more. Not sure who was at fault for this service but the restaurant was not even full. The servers were all over the place, I’m not even sure we could pick them out if we saw them again. Sullivans you need to do better, we will not return after this experience.

Terrible wine dinner! They didn’t prepare enough food for everybody. The wait staff spent most time hanging out with one of their friends at a table and not taking care of guests. Even the host said the dessert pairing was bad so drink the wine before eating the dessert. Unfortunately, I didn’t even get a dessert because they ran out and no one bothered to check on me until they delivered the $400 check that actually included a mandatory tip. Worst wine dinner I’ve ever attended.  Won’t be coming back here with so many other good steak restaurants in Raleigh that actually care about their guests.
