Jin Jin China - Raleigh

What a wonderful little Chinese restaurant! The staff is incredibly friendly and service is quick. The food was delicious, and I was thrilled to discover they have house soup and chili oil—truly the best remedy for a cold on Earth. Also, they really give you generous portions of meat. They were a bit behind tonight, but it was definitely worth the wait, haha!

I used to have a favorite Chinese takeout place, but now Jin Jin has definitely taken the lead. The food is the best I've experienced since moving to Raleigh a year ago. Their takeout trays are noticeably larger than most, and everything was delicious. The sweet and sour chicken had a perfect crispiness, while the sesame chicken was tender without being mushy, complete with a delightful crunch. Don’t forget to ask for a cup of their spicy oil sauce—it's incredible. Overall, I would give it a 4.8 out of 5.

I ordered a straightforward honey chicken with white rice. It took a long time because the woman who took my order and I had difficulty understanding each other, so I ended up pointing to the menu items I wanted. When my food finally arrived, the rice was soaked in a sauce that I believe came from the chicken, and the chicken itself was greasy and covered in oil; it was quite unappetizing.

This restaurant is quite good! I ordered the honey wings, General Tso's chicken, and pepper steak, and all three dishes were delicious. I recommend giving them a try!

**Please Avoid This Restaurant!** My cousin and I visited on Wednesday, October 4, 2022, and the next day I became extremely ill with severe stomach pain. I ordered the Sesame Chicken combo with pork fried rice. I was throwing up all day and continued to feel unwell the following day. Finally, I went to the doctor for some tests, and today I was diagnosed with Hepatitis A due to the contaminated food! This is not a fake review—I am still suffering from this experience. I was misled by previous five-star reviews (and I don't blame those who wrote them). Please, **do not eat here!** You could get seriously sick, and it's a terrible experience!
