Hako Sushi - Raleigh

This was by far the least impressive sushi experience I've had in Raleigh. The restaurant had a noticeable smell of dampness, and the service was extremely slow. The food was mostly edible, which is about the best thing I can say about it. The fish didn’t taste very fresh, and overall, all three rolls we ordered were rather bland.

The restaurant has a warm and inviting atmosphere, and the service is both quick and friendly. The pan-fried chicken dumplings and clear soup were satisfactory. The salmon sashimi was excellent, although it was a bit colder than I prefer.

Fantastic restaurant with an excellent atmosphere! The food was incredible, and the staff were wonderful. I highly recommend it for a date night!

Very nice experience. Sushi roll and entree were both really good. Friendly and didn't take long to be served.

Had a guy's night out recently, and we wanted sushi. We weren't able to make reservations at most places because of our larger party of 9. Hako was able to accommodate us, even though it meant driving a little further than we wanted. The food and drinks were outstanding. Our waitress seemed a little disorganized at first when taking our orders but ended up being great... very attentive and also quite humorous! For drinks, I would recommend the Ginger Cosmopolitan... for apps, the Crab Rangoon and White Tuna Tar Tar... for entrees, the Scary Jerry.
