Magna Magna - RAGUSA

At Magna Magna I ate the best pizza in my life so far. And: it was a gluten free one. They prepare the gluten free Pizza in a separate room, so you can be 100% sure regarding contermination. (You can watch how it is prepared, the pizza-baker is doing it behind a window). Glutenfree is plus 2 EUR per pizza. We had a Frutti die Mare (7,20 EUR) and a 4 stagioni (6,20). Please note, that is not a restaurant, just to pick up. BUT BRILLIANT. Glutenfreie Pizza für Zöliakie-betroffene vom Allerleckersten !!!!

I had to say I had a pretty good run when it came to pizzas, I picked Magna Magna as it was on the way to the train station. I assumed it would offer takeaway and I was lucky that they just opened when I arrived. The place was mentioned several times as a place that locals choose to go for pizza so I thought I couldn't go wrong. If you check TripAdvisor a majority of the reviews are from Italians which is also another sign that this was a good choice. The place has won a huge amount of awards for their pizza and watching their staff work was like watching a well choreographed routine, they were experts at work preparing my dinner. I recall that you can pay with card but cash was preferred by them for smaller orders. I got takeaway and enjoyed my pizza sitting outside of the train station thinking about how Ragusa is such a wonderful city with such amazing food!

Absolutely negative experience Dated place, apparently clean I must say (perhaps the only positive thing), I tried the cuisine and I can say that there is certainly much better food in the area with better quality and prices, it probably works more as a local takeaway pizzeria!!! Service, presentation, table setting and food in the name of saving money to favor the owners, we are not satisfied with the quality/price ratio, bill at the checkout absolutely inadequate for dinner, side dish paid more than necessary and not specified on the menu I really believe that they should only focus on pizzerias and not restaurants I don't recommend the kitchen I don't think I will ever come back to stay for dinner but only to pick up a pizza in case I happen to be in the area again just to try the pizza eventually

Too slow. Empty restaurant (there were three of us) and we were served after an hour, without considering that some ingredients were not even there. We had ordered a fried mix which was not served to us because the fryer was not clean. But the waitress was kind and the first course was good

Decent place, good local cuisine, clean, good service. Simple and economical cuisine. A bit talkative and intrusive manager. The pizza is good but if you are in a hurry don't take it.
