Iudice Pasticcere - RAGUSA

Amazing pastry shop!!!!! You had to stay and try as much as you can! A bit strange that they do not sell coffee, but the deserts are delicious. They also are the best size (for 2 bites). You can try a few things (instead of standard one big piece of cake). I really recommend to stop and try it, especially the fragola cheesecake!

The owners of this small family run Pasticceria in the heart of Ragusa Ibla are most professional and lovely to meet. They were responsible for all the sweets/cakes for my daughter's wedding, which was held in Ragusa. I wish I could explain the loveliness in looks and taste of each individually crafted cake/pastry. If you are ever in Ragusa Ibla, right in front of the main garden, go and try for yourself to get a taste of heaven.

Spectacular Italian and Sicilian 'dolci ', from mini patisserie to panettone to almond biscuits to apple&cinnamon cakes to 'mpanatigghi (local sneaky biscuits which have chocolate AND meat). Every mouthful is a joy! When it came to finding the sweets caterer for our wedding, the choice to go with Iudice was an obvious one. Emmanuele was super helpful in guiding us and recommended a light cake with strawberry cream and sour apple cream. Wish I had the space to eat more.

If you're looking for a sweet treat whilst in Ragusa, this is the only place you should go. Whilst staying in the town we tried a few of their small, individual cakes €0.80 each) and their frozen mousse cakes €3 each). The frozen cakes in particular were amazing! Try the lemon ginger and the pistachio both fantastic!
