Very cosy, quiet and clean little hotel, where you feel like at home. There are only a few rooms there and a big terrace on the first floor. In the morning you will get an amazing breakfast with fresh bread, yogurt, fruits and homemade dessert. The owners are really friendly and treat you as their friend. The location is also great, not so far from Kamnik and Volčji potok. There are bus stop and train station not so far, so you can easily get to Ljubljana in a half an hour.

Good example of a proper traditional Slovenian cuisine. Fair prices, delicious food and good portions. A popular place among locals.

We stopped here for lunch after visiting the Arboretum—we found it in advance based on Google reviews. I must say, the experience exceeded all our expectations. The establishment is quite large, with several halls, and one of them was hosting a big celebration. Nevertheless, we were served quite quickly, and throughout the process, they kept checking if everything was okay. The place is managed by the fourth generation of owners (with the help of the fifth), which is really great and commands immense respect. The food was excellent! Some items on the menu were not available (mostly grilled dishes, which I assume are seasonal), but there was a set lunch menu that included soup (we had the meat broth with dumplings, and it was a very tasty authentic beef broth, and the dumplings were perfect), the main course (we had pork and veal escalopes with mushroom sauce — a huge dish with two impressive pieces of meat, rice, and mashed potatoes), salad (cabbage and lettuce leaves, and my only complaint here is that there was too much vinegar), and a delightful dessert called grmada, which we devoured even before the coffee arrived (see photo). And all of this for 20 euros. Now, I really want to go back there for any reason at all. I want to thank the owners once again, express my admiration to them, and wish them strength and good luck.

They were super busy, it was a sunday, during lunch time. we should know better, but still a very nice waiter found a place for us. food was delicious, i would recommend to start with a soup, so good. it is pricey, but worth it. 10/10
