Pete Dye River Course Of Virginia Tech

Great layout and conditions...by the River. Of course a typical Pete Dye course of manipulating angles. You definitely need to know where to hit all shots! If you're passing through on I 81 in Virginia, I would recommend laying over in Blacksburg or Radford. Virginia Tech and Radford both have great places to stay and pig out.

Came here for a golf trip in the middle of August. Very sweet course. We preferred the front 9 vs the back 9. Saturday morning round with a cart rental was $70 so not bad at all. Friendly staff helps with your clubs and loading onto the cart. The restaurant was solid as well and has great prices. Though opens at 11, we had to settle for a bag of chips and jerky as we had a 8 AM tee time and couldn’t eat until after our round was done.

Great course. One of the nicest places around Radford, VA. If you have car trouble though I’d avoid Harvey’s in Radford.

Wonderful course. Makes me wish I played better (92). Fairways are tight. Course is links style on the river. Beautiful view everywhere you look. 35 to walk. Will go many more times.

Course was in great shape, but customer service was absolutely garbage. It won't be back.
