For more than 20 years we have been regular customers with the host family, who is always very dedicated and would like to recommend this restaurant. The very good transport connection (near the state winery Wackerbart's quiet, tram stop right in front of the door, S-Bahn station Radebeul-West 5 minutes walk, right on the main road), the friendly and welcoming restaurant as well as the very delicious food are to be highlighted. After some attempts in other (also good restaurants) we have always returned to Pallas Athene, and we eat at least once a month in Pallas Athene. Lately it has been renovated expensively and the outdoor terrace has been renovated. Popular dishes were also slightly changed and redesigned in the dishes. In addition to the starter salad (for our taste, the previous salad was an excellent starter in the Greek restaurant landscape and should be kept) these changes have further increased the already very good standard. All dishes are plentiful, tasteful and qualitatively very good and are fully in value for money. The garlic bread, the special cellar (Alexander der Groß, Greek Grillplatte), lamb specialties in top quality, filled pig ends and special potatoes should be highlighted as a supplement. We would like to recommend the restaurant to all readers of this article and thank you for the excellent hospitality for many years. The Rossis
The trams last stop is right at the door so we popped in for a drink,we were greeted by a beautiful happy girl who invited us to sit any where,we decided to have wine -Greek of course,it was lovely,we were also given shots of Ouzo, and a very small sweet delicious dessert. The decor is very nice with pale blue and white columns, the waitress informed us it was going to be re-done soon and will have accomodation too.Toilets were super clean and on ground level. This is only a short, tram ride from the biz of Dresden,we hope we'll be fortunate to visit in the future and sample the delicious smelling food.We also liked that some of the tables were situated "in"the windows making it quite secluded and private, -doggy friendly too! Worth a visit!.
We had been looking forward to a nice evening and were very disappointed. After a 3/4 h we asked how long it will take with our food, the waitress said it would be all freshly prepared and on the charcoal grill the meat takes 45 min. that she could have told us before, especially since there was not much going on and we assumed that eating was coming fast. when finally the food came, it wasn't even really hot and tastefully also not good, the portions small. we were already eating at many creeps, but that was the worst and also most expensive to date.
Very pleasantly tasting restaurant where we were more common. under the then chef (actually a wonderful contemporary - actually always well-launted and a very entertaining original) also tastefully for us a scale where the quality of other restaurants is measured. In the meantime, the smoking area has been removed, the restaurant has been renovated and the menu has been renewed. the daughter seems to have taken over the restaurant. everything in all still not bad, apart from the appetizer salad - that was much better earlier, but others have already noticed. The plates for several people were unfortunately deleted. on the old map there was the Alexander-der-Großer-Platte (a very good compilation of various types of meat - necessarily take with the spezialkartoffeln!) also for several people (2, 3 and 4), today unfortunately only as a single dish. The restaurant leads mythos, a Greek beer variety - which, in my opinion, is identical to the same name product in Greece.
