Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen - Racine

I'm 6'6', 203lbs, and always hungry. Popeye's gave me enough food in a meal to be filled up by the time I leave. I have never been to a Popeye's before today and the first impression I had today was great. I got the #7 combo: five spicy chicken tenders with two packets of blackened ranch, a biscuit, cajaun fries, and a large sweet tea for $10. The food seemed to come at average speed, but the cashier did a good job about getting people through the line quickly. I reeeeally enjoyed all of it, I'll be back for sure.

The chicken sandwiches had a perfect crunchy texture when we went here last time. But our order was wrong unfortunately. Despite that I'd still give it 4 starts since the food was good. We ended up with double our order, but we forget to order for someone that day so it turned into a blessing in disguise. The only other small gripe is that the spicy chicken sandwich only had a drop off sauce so it wasn't spicy at all. But the chicken was good so it wasn't a big deal to me.

Where is the zero star option? Waited in line around 30 minutes if not more, only to end up leaving with no food. Other people saying they were door dash drivers , and the restaurant not getting their orders at all, so having to wait even longer. Store was filthy. Workers that were in there, were moving super slow, zero sense of urgency. I could continue with this, but others have already driven the point home about this location. And it's 2.5 overall stars, speaks even louder. Avoid this location. Needs new management, and new staff in a desperate way. It goes without saying that I'll not be returning to this location.

Waited in the drive-thru for 45 minutes at 3pm on a Sunday. The lady was rude while taking our order, rude at the window and told us she only had spicy chicken ready to go when we were waiting for 20 minutes after ordering. There was zero reason to not have what we ordered available. Honestly, non of that would have mattered if her attitude was a lot better. This place needs better management and employees. Also, it wouldn?t hurt to clean the place up. It?s filthy (it is located in Racine, so maybe that?s why it?s such a disgusting place?

Very disappointed. I got the 1/4 pound shrimp and chicken tenders combo. The shrimp were definitely not jumbo shrimp... They weren't normal size shrimp... I wouldn't even call them popcorn shrimp... They were in my opinion breading with NO shrimp. And they had no cocktail sauce. The chicken tenders were a joke. Look at the pic of the one chicken tender I got. My finger is pointing at it. It was about the same size of a shrimp. It was a joke. There was no chicken in that piece! No way! The one good thing about my visit was the service was fast and friendly. The person at the window was super nice an apologized for being out of some things... Cole slaw and cocktail sauce. If this was my first time going to Popeye's, I would never go back... But I know it can be much better. So, I will try it again soon.
