This place is the definition of what you get from a Mom and Pop restaurant, soon to be a staple in the city; and that’s that good home cooked meal prepared by a seasoned veteran chef. I had the Catfish Platter and Fries and since I’m a fat kid at heart I added a 3 piece Chicken Tender and I experienced the taste of perfection HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Thanks for the great service and the warm welcome.

I highly recommend the pork chop with the seafood Mac cheese or the regular Mac cheese and the cornbread, phenomenal!!! Love this place and the proportions are great.

Extremely friendly service, and delicious food with generous portions.We we’re looking for a traditional Wisconsin supper club, but this intrigued us and we had to try it.When asked if we’d had soul food before, we assured them we had and liked it.The catfish was perfect, juicy with just the right seasoned crust. The wings were great (I chose the legacy sauce just for the name). The sides were all good too, corn was uniquely seasoned, the sweet potatoes melt in your mouth, the greens (a hard dish to get right) were smooth with a nice garlic kick and no bitterness. Of course it’s easy to see why people love the Mac cheese as well.Dine in and be welcomed like family.
