Gyros Express - Racine

The food at this new spot on Washington Avenue is just as fantastic, if not better, than at their previous location. Today, I ordered the spicy Chicken Shawarma, and it did not disappoint. The portion was huge, packed with flavor, and offered excellent value. Even though we're still navigating the pandemic, they have indoor dining available, but I opted for takeout. The interior design is modern and very clean, which I appreciated while I waited for my order. After paying, I patiently waited in my car and was soon handed a hot, delicious meal, complete with utensils and plenty of napkins.

Best Gyro in Town! Living in Chicago, I know a good gyro when I taste one.

WOW! We've tried many restaurants within a three-hour radius, and this place might just be my favorite! Everything was wonderful: generous portions, authentic cuisine, low prices, and the food was presented beautifully. The young men working there were kind, helpful, and patient. The only small downside was that I think it's a bit silly to charge for water, but overall, I would give it an A!

I’ve been a customer of gyro express for many years now, they are the best in town for gyros and my friends I bring that order other things (shawarma) say it’s fantastic. I always order the same thing, to the point the owner knows my order and even if I don’t order it without tomato’s and spicy, that’s how he brings it out to me. They have 2 kinds of fries too, Try the seasoned ones! Also the desserts are fantastic! I don’t know if they make them there, but they are so flakey and delicious! I think I’m going tomorrow now, I’m craving a gyro!

Tried their food for the first time today and it tasted great and fresh. The place was clean and the staff was kind! I got the chicken shawarma plate 2 falafels for under $14! I got full off of half of the plate so the portions are pretty big! Service: Take out Meal type: Lunch
