Life counselling, swearing and general BS conversation that could have waited. Politely asked to be moved to one of several empty tables explaining i did not like the conference call. They would not move me nor would they ask the couoke to turn off the speaker. They claimed the quiet tables in another section were only for large parties. They were all empty. I cancelled the remainder of order and went to leave. Was charged $25 for 4 pieces of tempura and 4 pieces of sushi roll. They would not comp it. I again explained i would stay if i could move and the only tables they offered were on the other side of the couple. Left and went to Thai Sushi for a quiet meal. Never going back to Trenton. This was easy to resolve and instead they charges me to walk out.
Trenton Sushi is an excellent restaurant. The food was amazing. The food was very fresh and reasonably priced. The service was excellent. The staff were very nice and helpful. We will certainly recommend this restaurant.
Trenton Sushi Buffet doesn't look like much and it is not your run of the mill buffet with food under glass in hot metal pans. The restaurant is in a small strip mall on Hwy 2. In Trenton. You sit at your table and choose your food on a tablet. As you order the food it is brought to you by a waiter/waitress and there are a lot of choices. I ordered 12 items and paid $30.00 cnd. Trust me... I was stuffed. Absolute must if you like Sushi.
They had a bunch of vegetarian options and they were unique. Compared to your standard avocado/cucumber (which they had), but broccoli tempura and the mango was delicious! The portion sizes were great and so were the prices. The staff was friendly as well. That was my first time in Trenton but I will definitely stop in again if I'm out that way!
My daughter was in this restaurant on February 22. She arrived with 30 minutes left to your lunch pricing. She was completely fine with that and just wanted to enjoy some sushi. The waitress was quite rude to her, and stood constantly checking her watch while she was there. She was the ONLY customer in the entire restaurant. This is the first time my 17-yr old daughter has ever travelled alone. She was is a different province, alone, attending a selection process at CFB Trenton. Nice to see how you treat people in the community around the base. The military community is small and word of mouth is powerful. Great job making her feel unwelcome and unwanted. Though the experience wasn’t fantastic, she said the food was a good value for the price, but not a huge selection.
