McDonald's - Quinte West

During a tour with a large group, we called ahead to inform the restaurant that a bus was on its way. They seated us promptly, served us quickly, and we were able to depart without any delays. The food was hot and made to order. While it is still McDonald's, the service was excellent.

Well we have been eating healthy and watching what we eat for a long time and last night feeling to tired to cook we thought let's cheat and just go have a big mac and fries tonight, along with a few Mcnuggets to share...well we sat at the drive thru window for what felt like an eternity and watching thru the glass as about six teenagers stood staring at the spot where they throw the food when it's ready and talked and giggled amongst themselves and the drive thru window guy stood staring at them rather than thinking ahead and handing our drinks out at least I finally see as suspected that our nuggets were the hold up and they get thrown into a bag that has been sitting by the window the whole time which held our burgers and fries, the whole time there was another car waiting in the spot where they ask you to move ahead and they bring your order out and by now there are about 5 cars behind me...we finally get parked to enjoy our big fattening meal we looked so forward too and the big macs which McDonalds over the years has managed to dwindle down to the poorest excuse for a burger with 2 patties that don't equal enough for one small burger are ICE cold, the fries ICE cold and had enough salt on them to melt the ice out of the local community gardens, the fountain pop either never had ice or it had melted in the time it sat at the window and tasted gross and the nuggets well they were at least moderately warm....so needless to say BIG disappointment at the local raunchy ron's ...the place is in desperate need of some skilled management, even though it's fast food they need to keep up a certain standard to at least deliver your meal hot, even if something is going to take longer teach them not to throw everything else in a bag ahead of time it's common sense....the next time we decide to have a cheat meal we will probably go back to Harvey's where you at least get a burger that you can see the meat on !!!

We ate lunch here today. I downloaded the McDonald's app using their free wifi. Then I proceeded to use a coupon from the app which saved me $2.50 off my meal . I'm not sure why everyone doesn't do this??? The restaurant was clean, there was a girl cleaning the tables continuously, she was doing a great job.

People are welcoming and notice that we are visitors....The staff is fast and courteous as shown.

Just because I was hungry I stopped by for a Hamburger. 10 minutes later I asked myself: Why did I eat here? Don't come here,
