We expected more. Boutique hotel, but very old, nice interiors taking advantage of an old mill, but it needs renovation. Friendly and kind waiters, especially a girl. The rooms are old and very very noisy. We got the first of the Low floor and since everyone passes by there and it is not soundproofed and everything creaks, from 7 am we no longer sleep a wink. Nice place but without any change in 20 years. I liked the service, calm and without any hassle . The starters were quite good... cured meat, with nothing more to add and a filo pastry with cheese and olive oil, if it had had less olive oil we would have tasted the cheese this way, it was an explosion of black olive. The second was Argentinian steer and confit suckling pig. The first was quite tender but it had a few extra days in the chamber and not in the maturation chamber. The garnish is stuck potatoes (you have to wash them) and lamb's lettuce . The suckling pig is very delicious but the garnish is the same... A glob of apple compote. Another thing I didn't like was the fact that they put the glass bottle (from home) with the corporate sticker of the boutique hotel on it and it is refilled, don't open it in front of me. Anyway, I've known the place for many years and I was honestly hoping for something more current. In my opinion, it is becoming obsolete.
