The Polka Dot - Quincy

I worked at the polka dot under the previous owners and the difference in quality and taste is astounding. The new owners are amazing. The eight armed chef group has made “fast food” into a gourmet meal. The fried chicken and chicken tenders have an amazing crisp to each bite. By far, the best chicken tenders I have ever had. Definitely a must when you come to town! The fried potato salad, fresh coleslaw, and jalapeño poppers are tooooo gooooood.

I got a burger from polka dot with the new owners and had a good experience. Toasted bun and overall pretty good burger. Patty is on the small side and there was a LOT of lettuce but the flavor was there. Very friendly front staff, as opposed to the difficult staff of prior years. I will be back to try other items.

It took 40 minutes to get a hamburger place wasn't even busy. There was 2 orders ahead but they were both single or two person orders. The burger was okay. The ratio of lettuce to burger was more lettuce than burger, sauce was tasty. It did taste quite fresh. They did get my order wrong. I ordered the a beef patty with the veggie style(an addition of grilled mushrooms, onions, crunchy onions, and jalapeños) I received a regular hamburger. Staff didn't seem to work together very well, communication seemed limited in the kitchen. Biggest complaint are the length of time it takes to get served and the mistake on the order. Normally I wouldn't be very upset about a mistake but after waiting 40 minutes for my order I would expect to at least get what I ordered.

Very cute place. Food was not all that great. Got chicken sandwiches with cold buns and wasn't all that good in general.

The food is good but it's pretty pricey. The kids enjoy the eating area by the stream.
