China Pearl - Quincy

Decent food but the service is very poor. We literally had to chase down the carts to get some food. The tables near us were the same. Also I noticed that the servers (ones carrying the food on the cart) don't stop for non-Asian guests. They just run past you like you are not there but make it a point to stop by the Asian guests. Very annoying!

Worst experience ever!!!! Saturday, January 14, 2023 at noon. My family and our relatives went to eat here. And for four days now we have gotten a bad stomach and diarrhea from food poisoning. It might have been from the chicken that we ate there. The whole family and our relatives got food poisoning too! We’ve been to China Pearl a couple of times and this has never happened before until now! It’s such a shame because the food is really good there.

If I can give them a zero star I would. We had a birthday party at their restaurant, their food was just mediocre. The appetizers were salty, the noodle like they just stir fry with oil and slap on a plate for us. It was messy and it was presentable to the guests. On top of that their dessert of red beans tastes like green onion and Cilantro. These complaints were all coming from our guests of more than 10 peoples. Our guests even told the severs multiple times, they said sorry there's nothing we can do. I get it, it's not the server's fault. We wanted to talk to the manager, but they claimed the manager went home (since it was past their closing time). Long story short, I talked to management and basically she said it's not true and I was lying cause there was another party there that same night and they said the food was great. But from the beginning i told her that party was also our friends and they claimed they đid not say that all. They also said the food was not good. So this restaurant' staff is all liars and management is horrible. The worse service I ever had. DON'T GO HERE!! There's more to the story, but this is the overall. We are just so upset at this situation.

Unfortunately we had such a horrendous take out order. Chicken fingers were greasy and not only fell apart but the chicken was also chewy. The pork fried rice tasted bland and and we couldn’t find any pork. General Guo was fine. The highlight of the order. The boneless spare ribs were plentiful but again, lacked any flavor. We will not be going back.

China Pearl in Chinatown Boston is renovated. So they're doing business with a Chinese pearl in Quincy. The place was very large very clean is slim amazing fresh food and friendly staff. We were very happy with our food. I suggest the sum in the morning between 9 and 2 I think. Chinese breakfast. 11 a.m. is a good time to go, bring the food around on small carts and then there is a steam table that opens with some of the more expensive items in smaller portions. If you order in the menu, the larger portions are more expensive. Great place best place for dim sum
