O Ga Ne - Quezon City

I really like their samgyeopsal because it's delish, cheap and unlimited. I got a bit disappointed with their sundubu jjigae though, not that good. Servers are all nice but how I wish they will be more attentive.

I ate here twice with my friends. The first time was better than my second visit. The sides were okay but inconsistent. Some of the side dishes weren't available when I went there the second time around. Kimchi was good but it's too bland as I eat kimchi almost everyday. Price: 3.5/5 It costs Php 350 for the unli pork belly and sides without rice. Meat: 3.5/5 The cuts are a bit thick so it takes a long time to cook. Sides: 4/5 I'm giving it a 4 out of 5 because they are generous when it comes to the sides. There are many side dishes to choose from and I love the fact that you can ask for more beef on your soup ;) Service: 3/5 Service is a bit slow as the place gets a little crowded especially at night. Some of the staff don't smile as well. (Smile mga ate at kuya! For plus points! ;)) Ambiance: 3/5 It doesn't look or feel very Korean except for the videos playing. The place is also a bit dark.

I said it before that Korean food is best enjoyed in a group and I'm reiterating it now. Try the noodles especially the jjambong! The serving is good for sharing and they dont hold back on the ingredients either. Definitely worth your money. Grill some meat, whichever is fine because its all satisfactorily delicious. Have a drink or two with soju and beer. All good for a night out. ????

It was a Saturday evening and my friends and I wanted to go out for a drink but we were also hungry so instead of looking for two separate places, we decided to just find one which serves good soju (haha so specific with the alcohol) and unli meat. Since we were in Morato, I browsed my bookmarks and saw O Ga Ne in the list. I heard a lot of bad reviews about the staff of the place and I personally did not experience any of this. When we got there, place was full but a waiter immediately approached us and told us to wait for a couple of minutes since a table was about to be vacant. We were then seated and our orders were immediately taken. We ordered their unlimited samgyupsal (350php) with rice. Again, only the samgyupsal was unlimited. This comes with a lot of banchans with unlimited refill. The pork was okay but the taste was too ordinary, nothing really special about it. Again, we were paying 350PHP for unlimited of these, who are we to be choosy? Hahaha We also tried their jjampong (taste was okay) and ordered their grapefruit soju which was the winning point of the day. Definitely a must-try but a bit pricey (250PHP for one bottle).

Anyeaong haseyo! So, my friend invited me for dinner here at O-Ga-Ne. Their manager is so accomodating. He talks to their client if they need anything which you cannot see on the other resto. Tried their unli meat and everything. I love their kimchi and potato. The place is kinda bit warm since it is normal because you're cooking. Love the place.
