I’ve heard amazing reviews about this unqiue and upscale product before, so why not indulge, right? It arrived recently. Its size was like a token you get from attending a debut or a wedding. It came with little bite sized buttered crostinis and a wooden spoon that I could re-use on another event. I said to myself, it’s quite small. It might not be enough to share. On my first spoonful, I was both right and wrong. Correct in the sense that it was too addictive, I could finish it all by selfish self. Wrong becuase it was too rich and sinful, it would be natural to share it with others. Each bite was rather interesting. It’s an experience you probably won’t have too often. Imagine this- crunch from the bread, creaminess from the cheese and popping sensation from fresh caviar, all at once! It was like your mouth had invited a range of guests, all expressing positive things. I’ve also been to Little Winehaus itself. They do have a quaint, physical store, offering a decent range of wine from different parts of the world. They have the usual Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinotage, Malbec, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Rose, and Moscato but in more reasonable prices. And as you sip comfortably, they have specialties like Jamon Serrano, Cheese Platter, Callos, Li’l Brats, Cheesecake and Dulong, aside from the Caviar Cake I received. If you wish to go, invite me please. They are located af #2 Scout Dr Lazcano corner Scout Magbanua, Brgy. Paligsahan, Quezon City.
My friend and I decided to unwind in this previously unfamiliar place after seeing this caviar pie on the menu... and boy! it did not disappoint. Now whenever I look back to that evening, I’m flooded with wonderful memories of the good service, friendly staff, warm ambience and unique experience. The small place is just right for a cozy time of shared stories and burdens. I’m definitely coming back.
When Life Gets Complicated, I wine so goes the motto of Little Winehaus. I would not mind adopting that motto myself haha . Hey Im a vino-cheese lady more than a beer-pulutan one. That is not to say they do not serve beer in the premises. They do. They serve Stella Artois Draft beer. You can heave a sigh of relief gentlemen...
I was curious about their caviar cake .... and I wasn't let down! for the price of P295, it was a steal. Topped with caviar with bits and pieces of onions and eggs ... i smothered this generously on my cracker, then a few drops of lemon.. BOOM. A burst of flavors i really enjoyed this with a bottle of Arrogant Frog which i shared with my friend. Also ordered the Jamon Serrano, Little Brats and some cheese, Brie and Gruyere. For the ambiance.. it was cozy and intimate. Service of the 2 crews was attentive and courteous. will be back soon.
