IHOP UP Town is still going strong. I went here for breakfast today. This is about my 5th time here, but I've not had the chance to review it. About damn time, huh? It's strategically located at the center despite it being in the original building of UP Town; I've seen a few whose locations weren't as appealing after traffic got diverted post the two building expansion. Overall, I had a very good experience with the food, noting that the prices are really good and not unreasonable. But the kitchen service left much to be desired; our food arrived 30 minutes after we ordered. And the place wasn't even half full. So boo on the kitchen service. Plus the dine in staff weren't proactive enough to manage us in that (and my specific request to advance what could be done early like french toast respect. TIPS: MUST ORDER: Corn beef hash. Awesome. Garlic rice and eggs of your choice. Under P300. They have other Filipino all day breakfast dishes all under P300. Unli Coffee for under P100! For coffee junkies. 30 minutes thereabouts appears to be the norm here (compared to BGC which is 15 to 20 , hey I'm just managing your expectations.

When I realized I have not eaten pancakes in a long time, I started to crave its fluffy and golden warm goodness. I just need to have one! And where else could you possibly get the best pancakes? I have a couple of ideas but I chose to fulfill my cravings by vising the nearest International House of Pancakes (IHOP) branch.

The food is a little bit bland. The ambiance and presentation are both above par. Service from the staff is amazing as well. : Overall, I love how the staff made sure the customers are pampered but the food can definitely improve...

A favorite breakfast place for Miriam moms like me because it's near the school. We celebrate birthdays or just hangout with co-parents esp during exam week.
